New Westminster’s poet laureate has a new title to add to her resume.

Candice James has been appointed a director of the Federation of British Columbia Writers.

The federation is a not-for-profit organization established in 1976 to contribute to a supportive environment for writing in the province. It’s one of the largest writing federations in the country and serves as the voice of writers in B.C.
